Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Owais added that based on SSDSC strategic goal, the club attracted a number of European and Asian experts in the field of training, to improve the club’s players’ technical and skill level, the most notable of whom is the German jiu-jitsu expert Errol.
Al Owais indicated that the level of SSDSC players, in previous tournaments, is the greatest evidence of the support they received, as they achieved first place in the 14-year category, in the UAE President's Cup, and second place in the UAE Vice-President's Cup.
Al Owais stressed that such achievements were made thanks to the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah; the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; and the vision of Sharjah Sports Council.
To conclude, Al Owais wished success to the club's female members who will compete in the Mother of the Nation Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will be held during the coming period.
