SRTA announces opening of Rakan Bridge dev. project

In order to deal with the traffic density, the project includes the construction of a two-lane high dual carriageway, with a width of 7.3 meters adjacent to the previous existing bridge, giving the bridge two lanes in each direction, in addition to ensuring the maintenance and improvement of the existing bridge.

Being implemented to improve the flow of movement between the project's neighbouring areas, the project also aims to enhance traffic flow between nearby areas, including Al Noaf, Al Qarayen, the schools area, the Container Depot, and Mleiha Road.
