Speaking to Sharjah 24, Sultan Al Zaabi explained that the camp included field visits to key locations such as the Traffic Control Centre and Al Mahatta Museum. It also offered hands-on training using accident simulation devices, allowing participants to experience the risks of speeding and the importance of seatbelt use and adherence to traffic regulations.
Al Zaabi noted that SRTA is committed to enhancing the camp’s content each year to better serve the needs of young participants and promote values of safety and responsibility. This year’s edition focused on safe driving, first aid, and road law awareness through interactive workshops and lectures.
He added that the success of the camp was the result of strategic partnerships with key government entities such as the Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Digital Office, Sharjah Museums Authority, Sharjah Media City (Shams), and the Department of Economic Development, in addition to several private institutions. These entities contributed their expertise and facilities to enrich the programme’s activities and support its educational goals.
