Sharjah24: Participants in the "Your Summer with Us" event, organised by Sharjah Youth (SY), a part of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, are excelling in acquiring new skills in public speaking, radio presentation, and innovative audio content creation. These skills enable them to express their opinions and have a positive impact on the local and Emirati community.
The participants are currently engaged in the "Podcast" programme, which takes place at the "Skills Lab 2023" as part of Sharjah Youth Studio's programmes. The primary goal of this programme is to empower the participants to create compelling audio content using digital media and innovative approaches. This unique learning experience rejuvenates their creativity and enhances their abilities to stand out in their fields.
The programme covers various essential topics related to podcasting. Over the course of 15 hours, the participants receive high-quality training, including voice modulation, sound editing, and radio preparation techniques. The foundation's commitment to investing in the participants' passion for the media is evident, as they are encouraged to actively participate in radio content production and play a significant role in spreading cultural ideas within the society.
The participants acquire valuable skills in writing and crafting captivating radio reports across a wide range of cultural, social, economic, and entertainment topics. They also learn the key attributes of successful broadcasters and essential radio directing skills. Additionally, they become familiar with the devices and technical programmes used in radio production.
Through practical exercises and collaborative sessions, the programme provides ample opportunities for the participants to apply the skills they have learned and exchange experiences and ideas with one another.
Yaqoub Al-Badri, a prominent media personality, commends the participants' good level and considers the programme instrumental in discovering a group of promising young talents with creative qualities.
