Sharjah 24: As part of the activities of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) in the United Arab Emirates, after the arrival of the children of the Arab world to Sharjah, they visited Sharjah Youth affiliated to the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators.
The event witnessed the participation in a number of various workshops aimed to enhance their skills, creativity and innovation in an integrated package.
The visit was organised within the framework of the keenness of the APC as an institution affiliated with the Arab League, integrating efforts to offer programmes that support Arab children and enable them with future skills to keep pace with the current developments.
The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, whose launch was announced in September 2016 under the generous directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is the first Emirati, Arab and regional institution that aims to build an Emirati generation.
After that, the members of APC participated in the Sharjah Youth activities, which included a variety of activities, interactive workshops, and various programmmes in line with Rubu’ Qarn Foundation’s approach in continuing its role in providing innovative activities and programmes in various sports, cultural, literary, and artistic fields.
Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC), expressed his appreciation for the role of Sharjah Youth in organising interactive programmes for the children of the Arab world, pointing out that the programmes will continue throughout the current week.
