Sharjah 24: Participants of the summer activities programme at Al Dhaid Club have familiarised themselves with the Emirati tradition called "Al San’a," which is an essential part of their national identity.
The management of the summer activities programme visited, on Sunday, the Central Region Parents Council at Al Dhaid City, affiliated with the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
During the visit, they met with Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Council, accompanied by Mehir Al Khayyal Al Taniji, the general supervisor of the summer activities.
The visit was organised as part of the third week's events, known as "National Identity Week," within the "Our Holiday is Different" programme.
Al Mahyan warmly welcomed the participants of the summer activities at Al Dhaid Club and stressed the significance of utilising the programmes offered by institutions to serve the younger generations and enhance their understanding of various aspects of the UAE.
He proceeded to provide practical insights into Emirati customs, and traditions that have become an integral part of their national and individual identities.
Al Mahyan specifically highlighted the importance of preserving "Al San’a" in Emirati hospitality, etiquette, and culture to prevent it from fading away.
His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club emphasised the importance of such visits in instilling genuine values and traditions among the summer activities participants.
He highlighted the significant national message conveyed by the summer activities, particularly concerning the Emirati tradition of "Al San’a," in preparing and educating the younger generations.
