Sharjah 24: Since the launch of its summer activities during the month of July, Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club has held a wide range of events that have benefited children, adolescents and young people.
Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club succeeded in attracting hundreds of people from the city of Al Dhaid and the surrounding areas, to join those praised events, as part of the summer activities that are seen in different Emirates.

In this context, Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club received a delegation from the Sharjah Summer Committee of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC). The delegation included Ahmed Ali Al Salman, Vice-Chairman of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee; Khaled Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Evaluation Committee; Afra Al Mashghuni, Head of the Public Relations Department at SSC; Safia Saleh Al Zarouni, Member of the Media and Marketing Committee; and Mohammed Shalash, the committee’s rapporteur.

Muhair Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, General Supervisor of the Summer Activities at Al Dhaid Club, welcomed the committee, and informed them of the wide range of different activities that achieve the strategy of Al Dhaid Club, and are in line with the plans of the Sharjah Sports Council to host students during their summer vacation.

Al Tunaiji accompanied the delegation on a tour that included the cultural centre, which includes different activities and events, including a drawing studio. They also attended the shooting competition in the shooting hall, and visited the gymnasium where the folk and heritage games are held. They also listened to the national anthem performed by the participants.

Al Tunaiji confirmed that Al Dhaid Club was keen to present different activities from what is common in all other places, making sure that participants will be keen to attend daily in large numbers to engage in the club’s different summer programmes.
