The Summer Centre at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club was keen to continue its educational role presenting a workshop on the basics of programming. The workshop was presented by the lecturer, Samer Muhammad, a computer specialist. The workshop aims to teach children useful skills and provide them with creative skills in dealing with computer programmes and updates.
The workshop presented the best explanations attracting children and adolescents, to discover the latest updates in the world of programming, website creation and internet browsing, which is the best investment for the current generation, which enriches the knowledge balance and the necessary experience of the participants, whereas knowledge alone is not enough, but the practical experience.
Khalifa Mubarak Dalmuk Al Ketbi, member of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club and Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Al Dhaid Club, indicated that such activities develop children skills and motivate them to be creative, especially in the field of technology, which is one of the axes of education workshops within the club’s summer activities programmes, “Our holiday is different).
