Sharjah24: Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club launched on Monday evening a specialized course in teaching chess, which aims to qualify elite athletes and club members to teach the basics of the King's game , and to understand the laws and regulations of the game.
Hamid Abdullah Al-Sadriyah Al-Khatiri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Dhaid Club, inaugurated the specialized course for teaching chess which is part of summer sports programs organized by the club.
The course was launched under the title (Our holiday is different), and it attracts young age groups from 6 to 12 years old, males and females.
Al-Khatiri praised the chess education course, affirming that it is one of the vital courses that the club relies on and aims to promote the practice of chess and spread this mental game among children .
The training is carried out by the international trainer, Abdel Qader Muhammad Rayes, and is assisted by the coach, Mada Haj Youssef which will continue until August covering basics of chess, principles and rules, encouraging members to participate in local tournaments, and urging them to take part in the UAE Chess Federation.
