SAVW conducts programme in Central Region

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW )held the training programme "Managing Institutional Voluntary Work". The programme targets volunteers including employees, volunteer teams, government and private institutions, and the general public. The programme was held in the central region, at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club.
The programme, which is implemented by Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, in different cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, comes within the framework of the Award's endeavour to implement a training programme in managing volunteer work and refining the skills of volunteers, within the plans and programmes that enhance the role of institutions in the field of managing and organising volunteer work.
The training programme topics include Practical skills in managing voluntary work within institutions, such as the administrative organisational aspects and the professional employment of energies and workers within institutions. The programme also focuses on the skills and mechanisms of business planning and control tools.

Fatima Musa Al Belushi, Executive Director of Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, confirmed that the training workshop aims to qualify individual volunteers and volunteers government institutions to work in the field of managing volunteer work. 

Fatima Musa Al Belushi indicated that this version of the programme targets all members of society, whereas the previous versions were directed specifically to institutions, with the aim of spreading the benefit among everyone.

This training workshop focuses on the successful management of volunteering, performance indicators related to economic abundance that contribute to sustainable social and economic development.
Fatima Musa Al Belushi confirmed that Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work was keen to continue cooperating with its institutional and individual partners, in spreading the culture of volunteer work at the level of society and its institutions.  

Al Belushi added that the training programme aims to qualify individual volunteers and government institutions in the field of managing volunteer work in an institutional manner, which would contribute to supporting and encouraging individual and institutional volunteer work.
