Sharjah24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) has announced the opening of registration in its 20th edition for individuals, institutions, families and volunteer groups, starting from 1st of Nov. until December 31st, through its electronic portal.
The award includes three main categories, with four engaging areas of participation.
The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) calls on institutions and community members to participate and register in the new Award’s upcoming edition via the website.
Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, stressed the Award's constant keenness to enhance its development programs to keep pace with the volunteer work process in the emirate, in line with Sharjah’s approach to strengthening the volunteer work system in the emirate, through launching various initiatives and decisions.
Commenting on the Award, Al Hammadi explained that the Award is witnessing many updates and continuous development, due to the nature of its sustainable societal goals, praising the efforts of the Award’s executive management and team.
For her part, Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director of the Award, emphasised that the Award is a pioneer in its programs and plans that seek to serve the community, contributing to supporting government and private institutions and voluntary groups in all their categories.
