Al Naqbi: 24 farms and 100 firms at Khorfakkan's Mango Festival

Sharjah 24: The activities of the second edition of the annual Mango Festival, which began on Friday and will continue until June 25th, have attracted the participation of a large number of agencies and companies specialising in the agricultural sector, as announced by Mohammed Khalfan Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee.
According to Al Naqbi, the number of farmers participating in the festival has increased significantly, with 24 farmers bringing more than 150 varieties of mangoes and other fruits, citrus fruits, and seedlings for sale.

The festival is hosted by the Khorfakkan Municipal Council and is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The head of the event's organising committee also mentioned that dozens of industrious families bring their goods to the festival.

He mentioned that there would be a variety of competitions and seminars for kids, as well as awards, at the festival, and that folklore groups would be performing traditional tunes.
