Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, revealed the approval of the activities of the second quarter, including the first municipal forum and the second mango festival.
The Khorfakkan Municipal Council held, on Tuesday, its 52nd general meeting, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of Vice-Chairman Dr. Suhail Al Naqbi, Eng. Fawzia Rashid Al Qadi, Director of Khorfakkan Municipality, and members of the council.
In statements to “Sharjah 24,” the chairman of the council stated that the meeting, which was held in front of the headquarters of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) in Khorfakkan, discussed a number of axes, including his strategic plan for the performance of the council's employees and members.
His Excellency confirmed that the meeting discussed its preparations to renew the ISO certificates in the council, which is one of the council's aimed at continuous development in the level of customer services.
His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi stated that the council approved its agenda for the coming period, which includes the establishment of a Saturday market for the sale of sheep and birds, before Eid Al Fitr.
His Excellency addressed also the approval of the date for organising the first municipal forum, which is scheduled for next May, in addition to the second mango festival, which is expected to be organised next June, in cooperation with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
