In remarks to Sharjah 24, Dr Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Municipal Council, said that the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is sponsoring and supporting the festival, which will include a number of events and competitions. He added that the celebration will feature mangoes from all along the eastern coast, including the several varieties for which Khorfakkan is famous.
A huge number of farmers, as well as productive families and more than 15 specialised agricultural firms, will be participating at the festival, as emphasised by the Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council.
