Sharjah24: Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, honoured Sharjah Sports Club as the champion of the President's Cup for the sixth time in a row.
The Champions flourished in obtaining the full score after winning the cups of all stages for men, youth and juniors, while they won the third place cups for the female and junior categories in the tournament.
The Taekwondo Kings coach, Captain Abdullah Hatem Al-Mazmi, won the Distinguished Coach Award,and Hamdan Yaqoub, the youth player, won the Best Player award for the 2022-2023 sports season.
Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri presented the precious cup to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in appreciation for the generous care and unlimited support to the individual games, praising the performance of the Sharjah sons and their technical staff.
The championship ceremony was attended His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, Eng. Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Club, Head of the Individual Games Department, Zayed Al-Suwaidi, Vice-President of the Federation, and Mohamed Ishaq, Technical Director of the Federation.
