Sharjah 24: In a Sharjah Radio broadcast, the "Aman Ya Beladi" programme, organised by the Sharjah Police's media and public relations department, emphasised measures to improve the safety of water sports.
The presentation included a discussion on the methods used to organise and safeguard maritime sports with Colonel Saeed Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director of Centres at the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, and Mohammed Al Kamali, Member of the Sharjah International Maritime Sports Club's Board of Directors.
Al Suwaidi highlighted the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority's duties and efforts to safeguard lives and property, emphasising collaboration and coordination among the authority, the maritime sports club, municipalities, and other organisations.
Al Kamali discussed the numerous sorts of marine activities organised by the club as well as the specified areas for participating in various water sports and hobbies.
