Sharjah24: Major Mohsen Al Hashemi, Director of the Cybercrime Branch at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Sharjah Police, and Khaled Mahmoud, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Securities and Commodities Authority in Dubai, were guests on the "Be Safe, My Country" programme and addressed a variety of issues relating to fraud crimes committed through fake trading companies.
Sharjah Radio broadcast a new episode of the series, which is produced by the Sharjah Police Department of Media and Public Relations and airs every Monday morning. Captain Ahmed Al Hammadi and First Lieutenant Mania Al Naqbi hosted the programme on Monday.

Mahmoud said, "People who commit financial fraud crimes are different from people who commit regular non-financial crimes because of their mental and psychological state. They can convince people and are good at lying." He urged people to look for legitimate stock trading firms.

"The General Command is willing to make intensive efforts to address fraud crimes through fake trading platforms and companies that are not licenced or registered in the country," said Major Al Hashemi, urging the public to verify the credibility of any digital agencies or platforms with which they deal.
