ERPD holds its second Ramadan session in Kalba

Sharjah 24: In response to a directive from the Sharjah Police General Command, the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) held its second session in Kalba to consolidate constructive dialogue, discuss the community's most pressing issues and challenges, including drug, electronic promotion, and family issues, and to strengthen family cohesion in order to achieve security and stability. There was an emphasis on family stability as a means of ensuring community safety. The topic of discussion at the session was "family and community security."

The session was attended by city notables, security and family specialists, and Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabah Al-Ajil, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police; Colonel Rashid Saif Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Eastern Region Police Department; and the Deputy Director of the Eastern Region Police Department.

During a discussion moderated by Dr Saeed Al-Amoudi, Dr Abdullah Salem bin Hamouda Al-Ketbi, Dr Khaled Saeed Al-Naqbi, and Major Salem Al-Mazrouei discussed the behavioural consequences of digital technology and empowering the UAE family through parent-to-parent contact, contact, children, family and community security, improving parents' technological skills, and the Sharjah Police General Command's drug-fighting efforts.

Following the discussion, the guests visited the accompanying exhibition, and Brigadier General Ibrahim Al-Ajil thanked the speakers and partners from supporting agencies for making the dialogue session a success.
