Sharjah 24: On Thursday evening, the Sharjah Police organised the third edition of the Ramadan Councils of Excellence, titled "Sustainability of Excellence in Sharjah Society", in the presence of Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; Brigadier General Arif Al Sharif, Director General of Resources and Support Services; and Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations; along with directors of departments and their deputies, as well as a group of pioneers of excellence and sustainability in various fields of work in the emirate.
Ramadan Councils of Excellence is an affirmation of the importance of communication and exchange of best practices in the field of security, social, voluntary, economic, sports, and customer services.
Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer stressed that the organisation of the Ramadan Council for the third year in a row came as an affirmation of its importance in achieving integrated work performance through the exchange of knowledge and pioneering and distinguished experiences with various local and governmental sectors on how to upgrade services, and adopt ideas to achieve the best levels that enhance quality and sustainable life for community members.
The Ramadan Councils of Excellence included a dialogue session moderated by Mohammed Al Mannai, to discuss the sustainability of excellence in various fields. During the session, Issa Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, spoke about the experience of the Sharjah Sports Council in the sustainability of sports results, while Mohammed Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry talked about the experience of the Chamber in the sustainability of commercial relations to enhance economic growth. Advisor Al Mutawa talked about the experience of the Ministry of Interior in the sustainability of excellence, while Lt. Col. Sameh Al Halyan, Deputy Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Sharjah Police, spoke about the sustainability of excellence in service centres according to the global star system. Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work highlighted the Award’s experience in the field.
At the end of the session, Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer honoured the speakers in the dialogue session, praising their presentations and hoping that the outputs of the council will be beneficial in promoting sustainable development and building a prosperous entrepreneurial society.
