Sharjah champion of 5th Int’l Junior Championship

Sharjah24: The Sharjah junior team, born in 2009_2010, won the fifth Sharjah International Football Council Championship Cup in its fifth edition, after defeating the Saudi Al-Fateh team by penalty kicks. Abdullah Sultan Al Dah, a member of the Sharjah Sports Council, stated during exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24” that the fifth Sharjah International Football Council Championship for juniors is a unique opportunity for players in this age group to display their talents, promoting their participating with other teams.

The activities of the fifth edition of the Sharjah International Junior Championship concluded on Thursday evening at the Police Officers Club Stadium.

Al Dah thanked and appreciated all the strategic partners and those in charge of organising the Championship, headed by the Sharjah Police General Command, represented by His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, for providing all logistical services to ensure the success of the Championship, extending thanks to Reach Target Sports Academy for bringing out the tournament in the best possible way.

Concluding his statement, Al Dah stressed the keenness of the Sharjah Sports Council to support various sports tournaments in the Emirate of Sharjah, wishing success to all.

The champions were crowned by His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Abdullah Al Dah, member of the Sharjah Sports Council, Abdullah Al Ajla, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club Company, and Tariq Al-Khanbashi, Chairman of the Championship’s Organising Committee.
