Sharjah Police Ambulance receives accreditation

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police recorded a new achievement to be added to its series of pioneering achievements, by obtaining the accreditation of the Medical Ambulance Unit as the first police medical facility in the country serving elderly.

Sharjah Police completed fulfilling all standards and requirements issued by the Licensing and Accreditation Department of the Ministry of Health.

His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed that Sharjah Police is keen to obtain accreditations in various fields, which aimed at enhancing the quality of life for members of society, through developing processes of its various police departments, pointing out that the inclusion of the Sharjah Police Ambulance as an accredited medical facility reflects its relentless efforts in launching "Elderly Public transportation" initiative that provide efficient services to elderly .
