Sharjah 24: Tomorrow, Sunday, the activities of the twenty-fifth Sharjah Government Agencies' Football Championship will kick off at the sports hall of the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled.
Organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club, in cooperation with the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, the championship is held under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council, with the participation of 12 teams representing government departments and institutions in Sharjah.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, confirmed that the tournament is part of the series of tournaments organised by the Club to achieve the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide all services for government employees.
He pointed out that the event’s aim is to develop the spirit of honest competition in a family atmosphere during the holy month of Ramadan, as it is a good opportunity to introduce the activities and events of the club, indicating that the club opens its doors daily for its members to practice activities and use its facilities. He invited the media to cover the event and the public to attend the activities.
