Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police (SP), represented by the Social Support Centre, in cooperation with the Community Police Department, fulfilled a child's wish to wear a police uniform, during his visit to the SP platform participating in the Sharjah Heritage Days.
This community initiative came under the theme "Child Happiness Programme", coinciding with the Emirati Children's Day, which falls on March 15 of each year, as SP is keen to meet and fulfill requests aimed at making children happy and drawing a smile on their faces.
The initiative also included taking the child, dressed in police uniform, on a tour of the old patrols participating in the Sharjah Heritage Days.
The child's parents expressed their happiness and pride in this initiative, which contributed to bringing joy and happiness to their child, and thanked the SP for its societal role in enhancing security and making the public happy.
