DSVA honors participating entities of 11th Dawahi Festival

Sharjah24: The Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (DSVA) organized a ceremony to honor the participating entities of the 11th Dawahi Festival, which witnessed remarkable events and activities and received a large number of visitors .
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head of the Statistics and Community Development Department; Sheikh Salem bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Tourism and Commercial Development Authority; Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Statistics and Community Development Department; Sheikha Dr. Shatha Ali Al Mualla, Assistant Director General of the Institutional Employment Sector in Sharjah Municipality ; Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Muhammad Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting  Authority; Abdullah Al Sabousi, Head of the Islamic Affairs Department; Ahmed Al Qasir, Executive Director of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority; Majid Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative Society and Abdulaziz Al Shamsi, Director General of Real Estate Registration.

The ceremony began with a speech by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Chairman of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, during which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for all parties and contributors to the Festival in its eleventh edition .

He praised all the roles of institutions in the government sector, institutions in the private sector, and the efforts of individuals, as well as media professionals, department cadres and suburban councils in organizing the event , which reflected the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah and translated the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi,  Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in caring family and society.

Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al-Kabouri, Director of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, reviewed statistics implemented by the department, which included a survey on the public's opinion of the Festival and the extent of their participation in the events.

At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, and Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, honored the strategic partners of the festival, sponsors, participants and collaborators.
