Sharjah24: Al Suyoh Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs has launched a medical initiative to conduct free comprehensive medical check-ups for the people in the region.
The 4-day initiative that targets 178 residents, aims to raise public health awareness and allow early diagnosis and treatment, witnesses a remarkable attendance from the residents of the neighborhoods.
The initiative reflected the Council’s role in promoting the concepts of public health and preventive health, highlighting the importance of the need for early detection of chronic diseases.
Youssef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi , Chairman of the Al Suyoh Suburb Council stressed the importance of the medical initiative, which is the first in the field of health awareness since the Council commenced its work, promoting the Council’s role in addressing the most essential health needs of the people.
