Sharjah24: Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority (SRTA) launched 10 "Tesla" electric taxis, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Youssef Khamis Al Othmani, head of the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah, and Sheikh Saeed bin Majid Al Qasimi, Executive Director of the Federation of Union and the city .
His Excellency Engineer Youssef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah, pointed out that the authority is following the directives and visions of the United Arab Emirates by reducing the percentage of emissions and preserving the environment by adding fully electric vehicles of the type "Tesla" in the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Excellency Engineer Youssef Al Othmani confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that 10 environmentally friendly vehicles have been launched in the first stage, and more vehicles will be added in the coming stages, and public transport buses operating with electric power will be launched soon .
