Sharjah24: On the sidelines of attending His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah the activities of the international scientific conference "Rare Syndromes Associated with Disability (RSAD)", at the University of Sharjah, the Director of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei has highlighted the importance of the conference, stressing that it focuses on the methodology of dealing with rare syndromes associated with disability.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei emphasises that the international scientific conference "Rare Syndromes Associated with Disability (RSAD)" focuses on rare syndromes, which are an important aspect in the field of disability, shedding light on finding different solutions in the educational, rehabilitative and psychological fields, adding that the conference is also considered the first of its kind in the Arab world.
Al Yafei confirmed that the conference, which is being organised on February 27-28, by the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services in collaboration with the University of Sharjah and the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, seeks to come up with some important recommendations that could be applied in rehabilitation centers in different countries, contributing effectively to increasing focus and attention in cases of rare syndromes.
Concluding her statement, Al Yafei added that more than 50 participants from different countries took part in the activities of the international scientific conference "Rare Syndromes Associated with Disability (RSAD)".
