Al Warraqin Used Book Festival kicks off in Palm Oasis

Sharjah24: Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) , stated that Al Warraqin Used Book Festival launched with a greater number of books and more activities than the previous editions, affirming that there are also used books donated by a large number of community members, as well as new books are being sold at best prices.

Director of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services emphasised that the outcomes of the festival will be used in developing SCHS, as the event has started today and will last until 4th February in Palm Oasis in Sharjah.

Mona Al Yafei confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the festival’s main objective is to shed light on the people with disabilities’ talents through providing a great opportunity for them to display their capabilities to the public on a stage.

Al Yafei proclaimed that there are great number of volunteers participating at the festival from the Sharjah Volunteer Center and the Arab Republic of Egypt who contribute to succeeding the festival during its 4 days.
