Sharjah 24: Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) extended her deepest thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his sponsorship and attendance at the opening ceremony of the first international scientific conference "Rare Syndromes Associated with Disability (RSAD)".
The conference was organised by the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services in collaboration with the University of Sharjah and the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the United Arab Emirates on February 27 - 28, 2023 at the University of Sharjah, with the participation and presence of a large number of professors, doctors, specialists, researchers, interested persons, students, parents and workers in the field.
Commenting on this, she expressed her hope that the local, regional and international relevant institutions should maintain their concerted efforts to provide the best services, in line with the best and latest medical, educational and rehabilitative practices for people with rare syndromes, ensuring their social integration and provide them with appropriate opportunities and jobs.
The Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) also thanked all the speakers and participants in the conference, appreciating their efforts to make its sessions and workshops a success through the valuable working papers, interventions and fruitful discussions they presented.
The speakers and participants in the international scientific conference "Rare Syndromes Associated with Disability (RSAD)" concluded their work at the conference on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, with a set of recommendations delivered by Her Excellency Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS).
