Sharjah24: Eng. Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Member of Sharjah Executive Council and Head of Department Of Town Planning and Survey, received Eng. Hamed Khamis Saif Al Kaabi, Director General of the Federal Geographic Information Centre, and the delegation accompanying him at the department’s headquarters in Sharjah to review the efforts and experiences of both sides in the field of geographic information systems.

The meeting discussed the tasks and visions of the Centre, as well as the Department's experience in the geographic information systems field, the use of descriptive data, statistical reports, applications, and mechanisms for employing geographic information systems in development projects in Sharjah.
