Sharjah 24: Mohammed Ali Mehyan, head of the electronic services section at the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS), announced the inauguration of the department’s virtual transaction centre on the Metaverse platform, as part of their participation in the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2022, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 10 to 14 October under the theme "Together, Integrating People and Technology”.

Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Mehyan added that the department's virtual transaction centre on the Metaverse platform provides an advanced experience for the department's customers by visiting the customer service centre and communicating with the centre’s staff virtually, in addition to the ability to view the department's most important news, information on various services and target groups, promotional videos and some instructions and circulars as well as providing transactions on a number of services as a first stage through innovative information windows.

Mehyan thanked all those in charge of the pavilion, and wished them success.
