Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) , Khorfakkan Branch, organised, in partnership with the Khorfakkan Public Prosecution Office, an awareness seminar entitled “Children’s Rights - Wadima” at the Hayawa District Council.
Ahmed Nasser Al-Naqbi, director of the Khorfakkan branch, emphasised that this partnership comes from the principle of cooperation between authorities and institutions to serve the community and improve the quality of services provided by the department. The second axis, which is (the role of the Social Services Department in how to deal with the reports of the helpline), is talked about by Khaled Al-Kathiri, an assistant expert for the Child Helpline in the Department of Social Services.
The symposium targeted the active parties in the community concerned with serving the child and his rights in the public prosecution, the community police, family centers, the child center, public and private schools, and nurseries.
