SSSD's 'Professional Volunteer' programme kicks off

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Centre for Voluntary Work at the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) launched the "Professional Volunteer" programme, welcoming all nationalities from the age of 18 years and above, residing in the UAE, to apply and register on the centre's electronic platform.

The participant is subjected to 288 hours of training in 72 programmes, divided into three levels: General, Advanced and Specialised.

Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of Cohesion Department, stated that SSSD aims to reach 6000 participants in the programme.

She added that the training programme lasts for several months, during which the volunteer passes through three levels, and each level is divided into 3 sections: Individual, Group, and National.
