Sharjah cub wins medals in Al Ittihad Fencing Championship

Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Club topped Al Ittihad Fencing Championship for juniors under 17 and 20 years old, which was hosted by Asmaa Bint Al-Numan Hall in Dubai, with the participation of 130 players representing 7 clubs in the country .
Sharjah’s champions won 8 colorful medals, with which they took the top spot in the championship standings, including 4 gold medals, in addition to a silver and three bronze medals.

Sharjah’s sons excelled in the tournament and presented high levels in all weapons and dominated the first places with distinction, after Khaled Ahmed succeeded in crowning the gold of the saber weapon, and Saleh Al Balushi the gold of the IP weapon for the under-20 category, while Khaled Al Muhairi won the gold of the saber weapon and Faris Al Balushi the gold of the fluorite weapon for the under category 17 years.

On this occasion, Abdul Rahman Al-Melehi, a member of the Individual Games Department, the game supervisor, explained that the team is progressing at a confident pace and the level of players is developing from season to season, pointing out that the club is working to provide all aid to the team and create an ideal environment for preparation for all tournaments to achieve the club’s goals by maintaining the lead.

Al-Melehi praised the distinguished result achieved by the Sharjah's sons in the tournament and the physical readiness they showed in addition to the high spirit, determination  that ensured them to take the lead in the tournament, wishing them to continue at the same level and maintain their performance in the next tournament.
