Rabab Abdel Wahab: SCHS employs AI to empower people with autism

Sharjah 24: Rabab Abdul Wahab, Head of the Assistive Technology Centre at the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), explained that this year the city is participating in the Sharjah government platform by the initiative ‘Wejhati’ -- ‘my destination’.

She said that the " Wejhati" application aims to activate the role of artificial intelligence in enabling people with autism to engage in social activities in various social situations.

Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Abdel Wahab added that this technology helps not only people with autism, but also all people who have psychological pressures in different social situations, noting that the SCHS believes that technology is a means to empower all people.
