Museum tour and learning experience
The students and their supervisors were warmly welcomed at SFRA’s headquarters in Al Hoshi. They began their visit with a guided tour of the marine museum, where they explored engaging exhibits that brought the underwater world to life. The tour also introduced them to the concept of fish farming and its role in ensuring the future of marine biodiversity.
SFRA's commitment to inclusive educational outreach
Ali Ahmed Abu Ghaziyin, Chairman of SFRA, expressed his pleasure in hosting the students and reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to inclusive educational outreach. He highlighted the importance of involving students of determination in environmental learning—an approach inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, who champions community-wide empowerment.
Interactive workshop and marine life experience
The visit concluded with an interactive workshop where each student had the chance to catch small fish, shrimp, and snails in individual tanks. This hands-on activity offered an enjoyable way to explore marine biodiversity and learn how different species coexist. To mark the occasion, commemorative gifts were distributed to all participants, making the day both educational and memorable.
