Waheeda Abdelaziz informed Sharjah 24 exclusively that the association's initiatives, activities, and events are all geared toward fulfilling the vision of Her Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, that aims to fulfil innovative programmes to support and care for arthritis patients.
She noted the signing of three agreements that will help the organisation spread its message across different fields and specialisations, and she emphasised that many events and initiatives are set to take place throughout the month of October, including the Scientific Week, the Hand in Hand initiative, a specialised exhibition on osteoporosis, the initiative of friendly schools for patients with arthritis, an annual marathon, and many more.
She also urged the general public and organisations to join in on the efforts being made to bring attention to arthritic disorders.
