Sharjah24: In conjunction with the World Physical Therapy Day, Friends of Arthritis Patients in cooperation with the Department of Social Services in Hamriyah, organised awareness events, a series of lectures and programmes for the elderly beneficiaries of the department.
In exclusive statements to Sharjah 24, Her Excellency Waheeda Abdelaziz, President of Friends of Arthritis Patients (FOAP), said, on Thursday morning, a series of lectures was organised in cooperation with the Sharjah Social Services Department in Al Hamriyah programmes, events and campaigns that were organised in the Eastern Province.
Waheeda Abdelaziz in Sharjah added that the World Physical Therapy Day is of great importance for arthritis and rheumatism patients, as it comes from the stages of treatment that the patient needs to relieve his pain and strengthen muscles.
Waheeda Abdel Aziz thanked and appreciated all the strategic partners and supporters of the association's activities, who always strive to deliver the message and goal of Friends of Arthritis Patients.
