Waheeda Abdelaziz, President of FOAP, confirmed the association's keenness to use summer vacation as an opportunity to spread awareness among various segments of society through educational, sports, and entertainment initiatives.
In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, She added that the initiative was launched from Kalba, to Dibba Al Hisn, to be organised in Khorfakkan during September. The initiative aims to achieve the wise vision of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to educate all segments of society about the diseases of arthritis and fragility.
Waheeda explained that the initiative includes many awareness activities for the participants and medical examinations for the elderly.
