Sharjah 24: His Excellency Jamal Salem Al Tarifi, Head of Al Qasimia University, chaired the eighth regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Al Qasimia University, held at the university’s headquarters in the city of Sharjah, in the presence of members of the Board of Trustees and the Chancellor of the University.
In his welcoming speech to the members of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Jamal Salem Al Tarifi congratulated all the members of the Board of Trustees of the university on the start of the new academic year. He also expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s continuous support to promote the quality of the educational process and the continuation of its local, regional and global success.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of many topics related to various educational, academic and administrative aspects, reports of the various committees and the work they carried out, and the most important recommendations received in order to facilitate the development of the university in its academic and research fields.
During the meeting, a number of decisions were adopted that will contribute to achieving the university’s aspirations and its continued progress in the various plans and programmes included during the academic year, as well as the university’s annual plan during the academic year 2022-2023. In addition to the launch of Al Qasimia University Journal of Arabic Language and Literature starting from the current academic year, along with the implementation of MoUs with a number of local and regional institutions.
