Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) discussed the mechanism of preparing players and coaches in sports with disabilities and transferring awareness of science and knowledge, in preparation for the upcoming sports tournaments at international levels.

This came during a workshop organised by the Council at Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled about the Paralympic and International Championships, in the presence of approximately 45 participants, players and coaches.

The workshop aimed to discuss a number of points on how to prepare for sports in all respects before participating in the Asian Championships, the World Championship 2023 and the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, and seeking to reap the fruits of these sports workshops for distinguished results and deserved achievements during participation in external forums.

Nabil Muhammad Ashour, Director of the Sports and Development Affairs Department, praised the success of the workshop, which came within the council’s keenness to prepare players and coaches for the great role that awaits them during the coming period to raise the flag of the emirate at the sports level.
