From August 1st to the 26th, games in basketball, handball, and volleyball were scheduled and overseen by the Department of Sports and Development Affairs. Six hundred and forty people participated in the three games that made up the prestigious programme.
The Council has brought in experts from Serbia and France to help improve the skills of club coaches and help players of all ages improve.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, lauded the programme for its tremendous success, saying that it represents the ultimate objective of promoting clubs by providing them with world-class skills.
He noted that the council is hopeful that such initiatives to improve Sharjah's sports infrastructure will continue.
