AQU receives delegation from AD Police College

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) discussed aspects of academic cooperation with the Police College in Abu Dhabi and the consolidation of joint relations between the two parties to build a system of partnership in research fields and exchange experiences in the scientific field.
This came when Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, received a delegation from the Police College in Abu Dhabi, headed by Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Coordinator of Academic Programs, at the university's headquarters in Sharjah.

The college delegation included His Excellency Colonel Dr. Khalfan Al Shamsi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Research, and His Excellency Captain Hamad Al Saghiri at the Academic Cooperation Department.
On the university side, Prof. Salem Al-Jarwan, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Hassan Al-Malakh, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Atta Hassan, Director of the Center for Development and Continuing Education, Prof. Suleiman Abdel-Haq, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Al Qasimia University, and Professor Ali Al-Naqbi, director of public relations at the university.

Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf welcomed the visit of the delegation of the Police College, praising the roles of the college and its national role in qualifying police competencies and opening prospects for joint cooperation to enhance cooperation between serving common goals and supporting Al Qasimia University’s continuation of its societal role within the framework of translating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and  Ruler of Sharjah.

In his turn, His Excellency Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Al Zaabi, the Academic Programs Coordinator, stressed the importance of this visit to Al Qasimia University and the opening of areas for joint cooperation with the aim of benefiting from the university’s expertise in line with the college’s goals, praising the university’s role and mission in paying attention to the Arabic language and Sharia sciences, and the efforts of the President and Director of the University and its academic and administrative staff.
