Sharjah 24: “The Manuscripts House at Al Qasimia University (AQU) has housed over 1,700 manuscripts generously given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, since it opened in 2017,” according to Saeed Al-Madawi, Director of the Manuscripts House at Al Qasimia University (AQU).
Over the previous few months, the house has received 278 manuscripts ranging from Quranic sciences to Hadith, Arabic language and literature, medicine, and agriculture.

Al-Madawi said in remarks to "Sharjah 24" that the current batch includes four volumes printed in rare ancient lithography as well as several chapters of the Holy Qur'an, noting that the majority of manuscripts are in Arabic while some are in Persian.
