During the meeting, the Council was briefed on the key 2022 achievements to date and updated on key operational activities of the University Council’s sub-committees. The Council spent time discussing and assessing the progress of its strategic transformation towards providing students with an evolved education experience, hinged on an interdisciplinary pedagogy, that prepares them for the future. The update included a review of the implementation roadmap and the key next steps towards the successful launch of ZU’s new programs for the upcoming Fall semester in August 2022.
In-line with ZU’s transformation strategy, ZU continues to explore international partnerships with pioneering International Universities and innovators in the field of academia, to further strengthen its offering to students in excellence in education. In this regard, the Council approved entry into a memorandum of understanding with a world-leading University to offer a joint program, soon to be made available to students in the UAE.
