Sharjah 24: Zayed University (ZU) participates in the Global Education and Training Exhibition 2022 (GETEX), which is held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the UAE, at the Sheikh Rashid Hall - Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center from February 24 to 26.
During their participation in the international event, which runs under the theme “Empowering Youth” members of the university were keen to provide advice and guidance to all visitors to the Zayed University pavilion (No. D200), including high school students, University students and parents, and attended to all their inquiries related to study materials and programs presented during the next semester. In addition to explaining the registration process, as well as clarifying the terms and conditions for obtaining scholarships.

ZU members have also indicated that the programs offered for the next semester are designed in a way that helps students actively engage in the work force through interactive and interdisciplinary education, which is key to establish a culture of innovation in academic subjects to hone their leadership skills in the future and keep pace with the nation’s future strategies in employing advanced sciences in the field of scientific research and development.

It is worth noting that Zayed University is offering Four new academic courses for bachelor’s degrees for the fall 2022, which are BS Business Transformation, BS Computational Systems, BS Social Innovation, and BS Sustainability. 

On the sidelines of the participation, Zayed Unversity invites all talented students in art and design to participate in an Art and Design Competition that will continue until March 7th in the following fields: animation design, graphic design, interior design, multimedia design and visual arts, the winner will get a prize worth Dh15,000.

The international exhibition is a great opportunity for educational institutes and professional training providers to drive up enrollment and reach out to the next batch of aspiring students. The event, which has been providing exhibitors for over three decades, anticipates to attract over 35,000 local and expatriate students who are at the threshold of college life and actively looking for higher education, professional development and training options.
