Al Musallam: SIH is UNESCO Cultural Heritage Registration Centre

Sharjah 24: Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) and the Sharjah Heritage Days' Higher Organising Committee, received Al Sayed Ali Al Hashimi, Religious and Judicial Adviser at the Ministry for Presidential Affairs.
Al Hashimi accompanied Al Musallam on an observation tour of the participating pavilions in the festival, including the pavilion of the Republic of Armenia, the Guest of Honour for this nineteenth edition of Sharjah Heritage Days. Al Hashimi expressed his admiration for the level of organisation and the diversity of the activities held.

On the other hand, Al Musallam attended a session at the Arab Heritage Centre on the common Arab file submitted to UNESCO by 16 Arab countries, through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Arabic calligraphy. The session was attended by a number of scholars and specialists.

Al Musallam stated: "The Arab Heritage Centre enriched the Sharjah Cultural Days agenda with various sessions and lectures devoted to the files listed by UNESCO."
