Sharjah24: University of Sharjah students participated in the UAE Innovation Month with new innovative projects that contribute to protecting humans from radiation and curbing the spread of the Covid-19, with using sustainable materials for fine arts.
Commenting on this, the student, Karam Abu Tafesh, a student at the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sharjah, has reviewed the project of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, stressing that it is an unmanned aircraft that measures the extent of radiation in the area, and it is an aircraft that goes in an automatic way without the need to control it. He stressed that the aim of the project id to protect people working in the radiological areas.
Taif Sultan Jadah, a student at the College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Sharjah, indicated that the participating team from the college is participating in 6 projects, highlighting the importance of the projects in promoting sustainability.
Sarah Mahmoud Abu Al-Joud, a graduate of pharmacy at the University of Sharjah, has underscored the importance of the project they participated in during the UAE Innovation Month, stressing that the project that contributes in curbing the spread of COVID-19, adding that experiments were carried out in the laboratory to ensure the effectiveness of the substance and its approval by the Health and Drug Authority.
