Sharjah24: The University of Sharjah (UoS)is set to organise The Sharjah International Conference on Education in Post COVI-19: Future Trends in Teaching & Learning: Employability & Skills driven curriculum, on March 14-16, 2022. The conference will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS).
The conference will include several keynote sessions, specialized workshops and over 150 research papers which will be presented in several technical and scientific parallel sessions spread over the three days of the conference. The main topics of the conference include updating instructional delivery, curriculum, assessment incorporation of advanced technological tools in teaching and learning. Special sessions will be organized and dedicated to knowledge sharing, experience and lessons learned during the past 2 years for planning for better educational processes in post COVID-19 era.
The conference will also discuss artificial intelligence in education, employability driven skills and new trends in teaching and learning. Keynote talks and open forums will be delivered by well renowned experts in the academia, focusing on creative solutions for instructional delivery, personalized learning, student engagement and solutions for students with special needs. In addition, there will be special sessions on accreditation and curriculum reforms. In addition, special sessions will be organized solely for graduate students to present their research work and papers.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants, the conference will be held in hybrid format, with live steaming for all activities on social media outlets. This will give scholars and experts in the field, from the UAE and around the world, the opportunity to present their work and actively participate and engage in the conference either in person at the conference venue at University of Sharjah or virtually from the comfort of their home countries via Zoom platform.
