Sharjah24: In its first meeting for the academic year 2021-2022, the Advisory Council of the College of the Holy Quran at Al Qasimia University (AQU) discussed its various roles and tasks in strengthening the college’s progress, supporting its academic programmes, and enhancing the college’s communication with the community.
He referred to the college's role in qualifying researchers specialised in the field of the Holy Quran, its sciences and its readings in various countries of the world.
During its meeting, the Council discussed a number of topics related to the work of the college with the aim of improving it in all fields, and continuing to support the development of the college in the fields of education and scientific research.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Council of the College thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union and Ruler of Sharjah, for his great and continuous support to the University and the College to play its role in serving the sciences of the Holy Quran.
Then, according to its agenda, the council listened to a detailed report from the dean of the college, in which he reviewed the most important achievements in the previous period and the college's future plan.
Through a review of the college's future plan, the continuous endeavor to enhance the college's march, which is the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates, and which takes full care of the Holy Quran and its interpretation, to spread religious and cultural awareness.
